Dr. Patrick G. D. Riley is a columnist for StAR, and a member of its Advisory Editorial Board. A journalist by trade, he is former editor of the National Catholic Register and has reported and broadcast from two dozen countries of Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America. He holds a doctorate in political philosophy from the Angelicum in Rome, and has taught at the Catholic University of America, Marquette University, and Concordia University, Wisconsin. His latest book is Civilizing Sex: On Chastity and the Common Good.
